I honestly didn't think I could handle it again. I was now ten years older than the last time I was single, and scared out of my mind. "Oh my god"... to have to start all over, what a disaster! Then I began to realize that the disaster was actually the fact that I had just wasted ten years of my life with a scumbag. Me starting all over again was actually like hitting the lottery. I was given the chance at a new life. It became time for me to become a wiser woman. To value my time, realize how precious it actually is and to only spend that time with good people. I will find a great new partner one day and this is where my misadventures begin. So far, I can say that the dating world has given me lots to talk, laugh and blog about. Follow me as I fall in love with love all over again. Thanks for following Marisa's Misadventures. With that said, it's time to pluck some flower petals 'Loves Me, Loves Me Not'
He loves me not if ... you are awakened by his thunderous fart that you felt under the bed sheets!
He loves me if ... you receive flowers for no special reason except that he was thinking of you. He loves me not if ... the last time you saw flowers you were dating someone else!
He loves me if ... he shows up to your place with a bottle of your favorite wine. He loves me not if ... he shows up to your place with a 12 pack of beer, and you don't drink beer!
He loves me if ... he lets his hair grow out because you are into the scruffy look this season. He loves me not if ... he continues to wear his faded denim jeans from the 1990's although you have begged him not to!
He loves me not if ... he would rather be at Target shopping!
He loves me not if ... he falls asleep before the fun even gets started!
He loves me not if ... when you call his cell he sends you straight to voicemail!
He loves me not if ... his car, friends and sports are more important than you.

I'm a thirty something year old woman, who has in the last couple of years exited a long term (too long!) relationship and re-entered the scary world of dating. I'm not alone in this. Many men and women have found themselves in my shoes.
He loves me if ... when you wake up he is just laying next to you, staring at you, waiting for you to wake up, and kisses you even though you have morning breath and whispers that you're beautiful.
