For those of you who are working and for those who are off, relaxing at home before the work week officially starts, we have some chisme for you. Nothing crazy this week, an ex-couple reunites and acts civil towards each other, the Golden Globes’ Latino presence, and more. So let’s get started ...
 69th Annual Golden Globes
The Golden Globes were aired last night and though many people love to hate him, host Ricky Gervais seems to be, in my opinion, one of the highlights of this show. Not everyone enjoys his brand of humor, but he is invited back, so he must be doing something right. Latinos were in full force last night with Salma Hayek, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba and Sofia Vergara presenting awards, and Sofia even winning an award with her Modern Family cast. It was again, Sofia’s night, as many are voting her best dressed of the evening (see inserted photo). She looked amazing in her mermaid-style Vera Wang dress and over $5 million dollars worth of jewelry. Jessica Alba also gets my vote as one of the best dressed. The actress looked beautiful in her lavender Gucci gown. As far as the awards themselves, some of the usual people won, so I wasn’t that impressed, I’m still waiting for Sofia to win her category for Modern Family, the girl is hilarious!
Lohan vs. Uncle Sam
Lindsay Lohan owes Uncle Sam some money, and it’s time to pay up. Lohan was hit with a tax lien, for taxes owed since 2009. She owes over $93,000. Pocket change, right? Lindsey’s excuse for not paying? She thought her accountant’s had taken care of it. Way to blindly depend on the people you hire, Lindsey. Does this girl know nothing about taking responsibility for herself? Anyway, she should have no problem taking care of this debt; hopefully she still has her Playboy money to pay with. That is, if she hasn’t blown through it all yet. Lohan is also heading to court today, to follow up on her probation progress. She seems to be doing good, getting a good report from the morgue she’s been working at, so that should go off without a hitch. The actress is halfway done with her probation, so here’s hoping nothing prevents her from fulfilling the rest of her duties, as any mistake can cause her 270 days in jail.
Blue Ivy on Billboard
Shortly after Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy, was both, the rapper dropped a new song “Glory”, in honor of her birth. In the song, he reveals that Beyonce suffered a miscarriage before giving birth to Blue. The song also has a sample of Blue Ivy crying moment after she was born. Glory has blown up in the charts, making Blue Ivy one of the youngest people to be a part of a chart topping hit. She’s just following her mommy and daddy’s footsteps. I recommend taking a listen to the song, it’s very touching and a nice tribute from her father.
In related news, rapper 50 Cent took to his Twitter after the birth of Blue Ivy, tweeting pictures of who he said was Blue Ivy, when they were really photoshopped pictures of Jay-Z’s face on a baby’s body. I think I smell the next rapper feud brewing. I kind of hope Jay ignores him though, as 50 Cent’s immature approach makes it obvious he just needs attention.
Kardashian Drama
So rumors were swirling all week that Khloe Kardashian is not actually a Kardashian. At first I thought to myself that that makes sense, as Khloe looks the least like her siblings, and she also has a different personality. I find the girl hilarious and not caught up in the Hollywood life as much as her brothers and sisters. Then I found out that the rumors actually started due to an interview given by Ellen Kardashian, the K sister’s late father’s ex-wife. See, I am one for taking things exes say with a grain of salt. Sometimes relationships don’t end well, or exes are jealous of the success of others, and that makes people say things just to cause drama and maybe make a little extra cash for interviews.
Khloe and her family were very quick to deny the rumors, and documents proving that Robert Kardashian Sr. declared in court that he was father to Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob Jr., were released. But even before all this, I happened to read the rest of Ellen Kardashian’s interview, where she also states that Bruce Jenner, the girl’s step father, is a cross dresser. See, now this lady’s just reaching. It seems she’s maliciously trying to start some drama, and well, I don’t believe it. So fortunately (or unfortunately), depending on how you see it, Khloe seems to be very much a Kardashian, albeit the most sane one of them, so that’s the end of that, for now.
Oh and One More Thing ...
Amber Rose, best known for being Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend, has recently spoken out to the media, saying that Kim Kardashian is the reason her and Kanye broke up. Rose states that Kim and Kanye had a secret affair and that’s the reason why Kim and Reggie Bush broke up.
Kim and Kanye were rumored to have been hooking up some time ago, but they both always denied the rumors. Now that Amber Rose is letting the cat out of the bag, both Kim and Kanye have yet to respond to her allegations. I guess they hope that if they ignore it, it will go away. Well, there’s one way of dealing with it.
 The Couple Who Works Together?
J-Lo and Marc Anthony reunited this week at a news conference for their upcoming show on Univision, Q’Viva! The pair were working on this show before they divorced and it seems they are keeping their differences to themselves and pushing forward in working together. Judging from the pictures of this press conference, you wouldn’t even know that they are divorced and already dating new 20 something year olds. They hugged, smiled and at one point, Jennifer even showed Marc her hand, as if to show him she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring anymore. Who knows? But both of them were all smiles so whatever is going on behind the scenes, we will never know. They put on a good act. Hopefully it’s not an act; it’s nice to see exes who have children interact with each other in a positive way. Will you be tuning in to their upcoming talent search show?
Gossip Tidbits
George Clooney and girlfriend, ex-WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler were seen double dating in Mexico with friends Alex Rodriguez and his new lady friend, ex-WWE wrestler and Keibler’s friend, Torrie Wilson. I don’t understand why no one ever judges Clooney or A-Rod for their womanizing ways. I for one do not approve. But as long as there are woman willing to be used for brief periods of time, then I guess have fun fellas.
Snoop Dogg was arrested in Texas last weekend for having marijuana on his tour bus. Snoop has a prescription for marijuana in California (how’d he get that?), but unfortunately, that doesn’t carry over to Texas. He was issued a citation and released. If he pays a $537 fine, then the matter is put behind him. Lucky Dogg.
Rumors are swirling that Paulina Rubio and husband, Nicolas Colate Nagera are separated and nearing divorce. The couple has one child together, but divorce rumors have been plaguing them even before the birth of their son, Nicolas. The couple has yet to confirm or deny the rumors.
Heather Locklear and Toni Braxton were both hospitalized recently, but for very different reasons. Heather was in the hospital for taking a dangerous cocktail of prescription drugs and alcohol. Her family is looking into trying to get her into rehab as this is not the first time she’s ended up in the hospital for mixing these two.
Toni Braxton was in the hospital due to a recent lupus flare up. The singer herself confirmed that she’s fine and thanked her fans for all the support.

Madonna has finally addressed the Lady Gaga Born This Way controversy. As you may know, Lady Gaga’s Born This Way seems to be very similar to Madonna’s Express Yourself. When asked about it recently, Madonna responded: “I thought it was a wonderful way to redo my song. I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was…interesting.” Considering that Lady Gaga and her people denied that Born This Way was a re-make of Express Yourself, I think Madonna just basically let Lady Gaga know that she knew she ripped her off and frankly, wasn’t impressed. Will Lady Gaga respond? We’ll have to see. Whose side are you on?
Demi Lovato and boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama are over. The pair were dating and trying to keep it private, but nothing’s private in Hollywood. Based on recent tweets from Demi, it seems the brief relationship is over, which is a good thing, since Demi is 19 and Wilmer is 31. Can’t this boy find girls his own age? Here’s hoping their next relationship bodes better for them.
Our condolences to friends and family of legendary Puerto Rican singer, Ruth Fernandez, who passed away at the age of 92. May she rest in peace.
Congratulations go out to Kelsey Grammer, of Frasier fame, and his wife, Kayte Walsh Grammer. The couple recently announced they are expecting their first child together. This is the first child for Kayte and Kelsey’s fifth child, with his fourth baby momma. Things that make you go hmm ...
 Hottie of the Week
This week’s hottie is Cuban and Puerto Rican actor Adam Rodriguez. I had to find a picture that showed off his best angle, you know what I mean? You may know Adam from CSI: Miami and a brief stint on Ugly Betty. Adam is currently filming the movie Magic Mike. Ladies…this is going to be the MUST see movie of the year. Magic Mike is a movie about male strippers. Enough said, right? But not only is the subject choice interesting, the actors are VERY interesting. We have sexy Adam Rodriguez, pictured here, as well as Channing Tatum and Matt Bomer. Look the movie up and you will see why you don’t want to miss it.
