Northeastern Illinois University presents the fourth annual Chicago Brass Festival with performances on March 9 & 10, 2012. Don’t miss the amazing quintet Spanish Brass - an innovative ensemble created by five Spanish musicians in 1989 that quickly became world renowned for its performances, educational activities and creative collaborations - on Friday, March 9.. Since winning First Prize in the 1996 Narbonne (France) International Brass Quintet Competition, the most prestigious event of its kind, Spanish Brass has given hundreds of concerts across the globe.
