Description
The Alsdorf Galleries is on permanent display. The collection, which includes Indian, Southeast Asian, Himalayan and Islamic art, is one of the world's largest collections. Also visit other exhibits such as: Daniel Burnham's Plans of Chicago, 500 Ways of Looking at Modern.

Free Winter Weekdays
Admission to the Art Institute of Chicago is free to Illinois residents every weekday, January 2–February 10, 2012.
City of Chicago residents with Chicago Public Library cards can borrow a "Museum Passport" card from any library branch for free general admission to the nine members of Museums in the Park, including the Art Institute of Chicago.
