Description

Brookfield Zoo is located at First Avenue between Ogden Avenue and 31st Street in Brookfield, Illinois, just 14 miles west of downtown Chicago. There are exits to First Avenue from the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) and from the Stevenson Expressway (I-55). Signs on First Avenue will direct you to the zoo's main entrance and zoo parkingor you can just follow the lion's roar.

 

All-in-One Tickets -- Adults $25.00, Seniors 65 and Over $19.00, Children 3 to 11 $19.00
Zoo admission plus the following attractions: Dinosaurs Alive!, Butterflies!, Children's Zoo, Hamill Family Play Zoo, Motor Safari, and Carousel.

Admission + 3 -- Adults $19.00, Seniors 65 and Over $14.00, Children 3 to 11 $14.00
Zoo admission plus choose three (3) from the following attractions: Dinosaurs Alive!, Butterflies!, Children's Zoo, Hamill Family Play Zoo, Motor Safari, and Carousel.

General Admission -- Adults $13.50, Seniors 65 and Over $9.50, Children 3 to 11 $9.50

Parking -- $9.00

FREE KIDS DAYS - AUGUST 16, 17, 18

If you have not visited the Brookfield Zoo, then come out on Free Kids' Days. Or come back for another summer visit to enjoy the antics of Hudson, the zoo's 3 year old polar bear, as he dives and swims in his new pool. During Free Kids' Days, presented by Meijer, Brookfield Zoo will be open from 9:30am to 6:00pm.

Hours:

Brookfield Zoo, managed by the Chicago Zoological Society, is open every day of the year! Hours change seasonally, as indicated below:

Monday - Saturday: 9:30pm - 6:00pm

Sunday: 9:30am - 7:30pm

  • Indoor animal exhibits close one half hour before the zoo closes.
